I saw a lot today:
Mattawan looked good, they beat Buchanan by 15, easily, could have been a lot more, then beat Sturgis by a few while giving their younger less experienced players lots of playing time. I didn't see their third game. I did see one really pretty behind the head pass that Wilbur threw down low. ( Nice one wilbur).
St Joe and Lakeview both took young inexperienced teams, and it showed. Both these teams had basball players in the regional today. SJ beat Lakeview, then lost to Sturgis. In SJ's third game they got smoked by Gull Lake. Andy blocked one Clore's shots, but only becasue David was afraid he might get punched (just joking). Gull Lake actually looked pretty good.
Overall it looked a lot like the first day of summer competition, pretty ragged with a lot of fouls and turnovers, but hey, this is the beginning of 2004-05, this is where it starts.

Coldwater was there with a BUNCH of players, and they playd hard, but I couldn't say how well they did. They may have been the third game against mattawan.
Gull Lake had basenball regional too, in fact they won it over paw paw. Congrats to them.
